Craig Coshun of Fox Sports Wisconsin joined the show on Tuesday to talk about the Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks.
Brewers’pitcher Mark Rogers only recorded four outs, gave up three earned runs, and four walks while throwing 45 pitches in his spring training start today. Coshun said this makes Rogers the sixth man right now. “This is not what you want to do in a cluster of people vying for spots. I think right now the bottom line is you are hoping to make progress in every start in spring training. Fortunately for him, he is going to get another crack at it.”
Are the Brewers going to go after a free agent pictcher? Coshun said, “It’s hard to ignore the fact that (Kyle) Lohse is still out there.”
What have been the surprises in Brewers’camp? “(None) because of all the players they (have been) missing and are still missing at the WBC.” Coshun mentioned that the Brewers are continually frustrated that they haven’t had their two starting catchers.
Coshun discussed about the differences from the Milwaukee Bucks before the trade deadline compared to now. “They’ve played more wide open; they have shot the ball extremely well.” He talked about the fact that the guards have played very well, and the big men have been okay, but when Milwaukee has been annihilated, it’s because of the big men.
Coshun also said he not sure that any of the guards want to be a Milwaukee Buck next year.
