Current Seattle Seahawks’ offensive lineman, and former Badger, John Moffitt joined the show on Friday.

Moffitt was at the combine just a couple years ago, and isn’t a fan of the process. “I think we all know it’s a big horse and pony show.”  Moffitt feels like what a player did on the field was what should be most important.  “To me, most of the work should already be done.“

Training leading up to the combine is unlike anything he ever did or ever will do again.  “You basically learn to become a track athlete for a month.  I think it’s ridiculous.”

Moffitt considers interviews to be one of the most important parts of the combine, but he said they already know all about you.  “The crazy thing is you just have to go in there and be you.”

Moffitt also talked about how great his quarterback played this year.  “I was definitely surprised with the level that Russell (Wilson) took it to.”

Moffitt is having fun with his website moffittmerch.com.  It’s a website that Moffitt puts his merchandise on.  One of his t-shirts has a Zac Brown Band/Duck Dynasty thing going.  Moffitt had fun with it and joked,  “Yeah I just stole from both of them and combined it.”

As for what Moffitt is doing right now, he said he is sleeping in, and getting away from all the hard work for a little while. “Just really enjoying the off season, I’m about ready to get back into training here in a couple weeks.”
