Sports Illustrated NFL insider Don Banks joined us Monday to talk Super Bowl week and predictions.
Banks said he didn't expect Baltimore "to do anything but one and done in January" but that he thinks "we're forced to see this team as the team that has the mojo factor in their favor." He noted their quarterback's high performance and says "they've been a different team since December." He also thinks "a lot of the credit" of Baltimore's improved offense is owed to their change in offensive coordinators.
All this being said, however, Banks' favorite for Super Bowl XLVII is still San Francisco. He thinks their offense "is so varied and so balanced" and that "San Francisco has too many ways to beat the Ravens."
On all the hype and PR surrounding Ray Lewis, Banks thinks Lewis is "largely winning" throughout the process.
