Dave Revsine of the Big Ten Network joined the Mike Heller Show on Friday to preview the Badger vs. Minnesota Basketball game.

Revsine said because the Badgers have lost their last two games and the schedule is "rough", this game has a "heightened importance”.

Revsine also discussed why Minnesota has struggled for so many years under head coach Tubby Smith. “They haven’t really had facilities wise any kind of an upgrade, the arena is old to say to least, recruiting wise, it just seems like every year something has gone a little bit wrong for Tubby.

The Gophers were on a role until their lost to Northwestern on Wednesday. “They are careless with the ball, they turn it over a lot, but if they can with this one (tomorrow), I think that they can feel like they're back on track a little bit.”

As for why the Badgers can't make free throws, Revsine has a theory.  “It seems like missed free throws are contagious”.
