Tom Dienhart of the BTN had a great piece on a rules emphasis for the B1G conference this fall. Basically if a defender "targets" a hit above the shoulders to a defenseless player he'll be tossed. It got us thinking about a couple of plays from the past involving Wisconsin Badgers. Was this a dirty hit? (Not sure what's up with the slo-mo music replay in this one)
I think we can all agree this hit on Kyle Jefferson from 2007 probably should have resulted in an ejection at the time.
